Overview Join our compassionate team as an Elderly Caregiver, where your dedication and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care, support daily living activities, and promote independence within a safe, respectful environment. We are committed to fostering a positive and empowering atmosphere where caregivers can thrive while delivering exceptional care. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately Administer medications following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts and resident's to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient progress, and any incidents or concerns Support residents' emotional well-being through compassionate communication and engagement in social activities Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Certifications in CPR and First Aid; familiarity with HIPAA standards for confidentiality Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in condition Experience with medication administration, care plans, and patient safety protocols Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families Join us in providing compassionate, high-quality elderly care that enriches lives every day!
