This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to provide essential care, support childhood development, and foster a safe, engaging environment. Whether working with infants, toddlers, or children with disabilities, you will play a vital role in promoting growth, learning, and well-being through attentive caregiving and educational activities. Duties Provide attentive care to children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and nap schedules in accordance with individual needs Support early childhood education by engaging children in age-appropriate activities that promote development and learning Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive social interactions and emotional growth Collaborate with families and team members to develop personalized care plans that address specific needs or disabilities Maintain a clean, organized environment that adheres to health and safety standards including first aid procedures when necessary Document daily activities, developmental milestones, and any concerns to ensure consistent communication with families and supervisors Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or classroom settings is highly desirable Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including diapering, feeding routines, and age-specific activities Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification upon hire is expected Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a nurturing environment Previous caregiving or childcare roles that involved teaching or behavior management will be advantageous Join us in creating a positive impact through dedicated caregiving!
