Join our Easterseals NH team as a Direct Support Associate, where you'll empower adults with developmental disabilities and diverse support needs to build independence, engage in their communities, and live fulfilling lives. We are currently hiring for both our Day Program and our Residential Homes, offering flexibility based on your interests, experience, and schedule.Locations:
Positions available in Concord and Penacook.What You'll Do:
Day Program Role (30 hours/week) As a Day Program Direct Support Associate, you'll support individuals as they participate in engaging, community-based, and skill‑building activities such as: Vocational tasks Volunteerism Outings and integrative community experiences Your responsibilities will range from providing general supervision to offering hand‑over‑hand assistance, always ensuring each person receives the individualized support they need to succeed. Looking for a full 40-hour week? Start in the Day Program and add up to 10 additional hours in one of our residential homes. Residential Role (Full-Time, Part-Time) As a Residential Direct Support Associate, you'll help create a safe, supportive, and home-like environment for adults with developmental disabilities and varying medical needs.Responsibilities include:
Supporting activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care and medication administration Assisting with lifting, transferring, and mobility Light housekeeping, meal prep, and laundry Accompanying individuals to appointments, activities, and community events Following personalized care plans Completing daily documentation on a computer or tablet Participating in trainings such as conflict resolution and behavioral health safety What We're Looking For We welcome both experienced Human Services professionals and individuals eager to start a meaningful new career path. Ideal candidates may have experience as a: Direct Support Professional (DSP)Residential Counselor Caregiver Behavior Technician Support Counselor Qualifications:
Minimum 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance Prior direct care/direct support experience preferred, but not requiredCompensation:
Day Program:
$19 - $20 hourly, dependent upon program needs.Residential:
$22.62 hourly, dependent upon program needs. Grow with us! Advance your career through our paid DSP Career Progression Pathway and earn up to an additional $1.50/hour by completing all three levels.
