Part Time Caregiver Beaver Lake Lodge Assisted Living Job Summary Join our compassionate team as a Part-Time Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities. You will work closely with residents and their families, delivering attentive, respectful, and professional care tailored to each individual's needs. Your dedication will help create a safe, comfortable, and engaging atmosphere for those you serve. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' health status, noting changes in behavior or physical condition, and report findings to management Assist in serving nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary plans and assist residents during meal times Assist the residents with self administration of medications Operate medical equipment such as blood pressure monitors, and other patient monitoring devices safely and effectively Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control standards are met Support residents with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing memory care strategies and providing companionship Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care settings preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration Hands-on experience with Alzheimer's and dementia care Experience with HIPAA compliance is essential Ability to lift heavy objects safely and comfort with assisting residents with mobility challenges Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with seniors, their families, and healthcare teams At Beaver Lake Lodge we are looking to fill a part time afternoon caregiving position. The hours we are looking for are currently 2p - 630p a couple weekdays, and some weekend shifts. Join us in making a meaningful difference every day!
