Position Summary:
The LNA/RA is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in our assisted living memory care neighborhoods The LNA/RA role includes providing hands-on care, physical and emotional support, while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

Experience and Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed throughout this job description are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. High School diploma / GED accepted and maybe required per state regulations Must be at least 18 years of age May have LNA license; Medication Supervision Certification is a plus Previous experience working with seniors preferred and desire to serve and care for seniors Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest Ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations Ability to handle multiple priorities Must possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and level of understanding Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Maintains universal care precautions of cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards Ability to stand/walk 4-7 hours per during an 8 hour shift Maintains proper certifications as required by the state and participates in all required training Essential Duties Observes, reports, and documents symptoms and conditions of residents Reviews, reads, notates, and initializes daily logs to document and learn about pertinent information and any resident's physical and/or behavioral changes Helps maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident adhering to the standards of Resident Rights Strives to understand and respond to each resident with empathy; always mindful of the resident's unique communication patterns and history Checks residents for changes in skin condition, side effects of medication, and overall health conditions Ensures established safety procedures are being followed at all times Maintains universal care precautions of cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards
