Job Description
Job Overview Nova Leap Home Health is a leading home care agency dedicated to helping older adults continue to live at home. We provide personalized home care services and solutions to fit the family. We are seeking an outgoing, motivated and dedicated Caregiver Manager (CCM) to join our team. As Caregiver Manager, you will supervise and lead a team of caregivers by training, developing and supporting them so that they may thrive in their roles and provide quality care for clients. Your responsibilities include coordination of caregiver training, managing caregiver relationships, and ensuring regulatory compliance, while promoting client satisfaction. You will work closely with our branch manager to develop and implement growth strategies and advance the overall quality of care delivery. The Caregiver Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day activities of caregivers within a home care agency. This role ensures that clients receive high-quality, compassionate care by recruiting, training, and supporting caregivers. The Caregiver Manager also plays a key role in scheduling, performance management, and ensuring that all services comply with the agency's standards and local regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Caregiver Supervision & Support:
Orient and train new caregivers to ensure the agency has a strong, well-trained workforce. Provide ongoing supervision, training, and mentorship to caregivers to maintain high standards of care. This may include training sessions in the office, in the client's home, and placement in the client's home for first shifts. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to caregivers. Serve as a primary point of contact for caregivers, offering guidance and support to address challenges they may face in the field.Scheduling & Staffing:
Support scheduling in the coordination of caregiver schedules, ensuring all shifts are covered and caregivers have appropriate work hours. Coordinate backup care for shifts where caregivers are unavailable, or emergencies arise. Maintain accurate records of caregiver availability, assignments, and shifts worked.Compliance & Quality Control:
Ensure that all caregivers comply with agency policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations. Implement quality assurance programs to regularly assess caregiver performance and client satisfaction. Stay up to date with industry's best practices and ensure the team is informed of any changes in policies or regulations. Maintain accurate and detailed records of caregiver communication, preferences, needs and requests.Communication & Coordination:
Act as a liaison between caregivers and the management team to ensure clear and open lines of communication. Work closely with the scheduling and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery. Organize and lead regular meetings to keep caregivers informed and engaged. After hours on-call duties as assignedQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in home care, caregiving, or a healthcare management role. Strong knowledge of home care practices, caregiving duties, and healthcare regulations. Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with experience managing teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in using scheduling software and other relevant technology.Pay:
