Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patients and observe their condition to identify any changes or concerns promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Medication reminder following care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Support clients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Document care activities meticulously and communicate effectively with healthcare teams about patient progress or concerns Provide emotional support and companionship to foster social engagement and reduce feelings of isolation for clients with developmental disabilities or seniors Experience Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required Experience in dementia or Alzheimer's care, hospice support, or long-term care environments will enhance your effectiveness in this role Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare professionals, families, and clients to deliver personalized care plans Join us as an In-Home Caregiver where your compassion fuels positive change!
