501 Willow Avenue, Hoboken NJ Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with toddlers and young children, demonstrating a strong commitment to their development and well-being. This role is essential in creating a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere for children, fostering their growth through play and structured activities. Responsibilities Provide attentive care to toddlers and young children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Assist with daily routines including meals, naps, and personal hygiene. Educate children through play-based learning techniques, encouraging curiosity and exploration. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play. Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns. Implement classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment. Perform first aid when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of all children under care. Experience Previous experience in toddler care or working with young children is highly desirable. Background in daycare settings or early childhood education is preferred. Familiarity with first aid procedures is a plus. Experience working with students in an educational context can enhance the caregiving experience. Skills in babysitting or caregiving will be beneficial for this role.
