4 Jersey City, NJ Job Details Full-time $15 an hour 4 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Patient assessment First Aid Certification In-home experience Patient observation Full Job Description We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated caregiver to provide bedside care for an adult bedridden patient in a home setting. The patient is stable and requires routine care, monitoring, assistance with daily needs, and companionship. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in adult bedside caregiving and is ideal for someone who is patient, attentive, and comfortable providing personal care. Filipino applicants are encouraged to apply. Schedule 40 hours per week (Fixed Schedule) Wednesday

  • 3:00 PM Compensation $15 per hour Paid biweekly Responsibilities Provide bedside care and ensure the patient's comfort and safety throughout the shift.
Assist with feeding and administration of nutritional supplements through a feeding tube (Glucerna). Administer medications on schedule. Monitor and record vital signs and blood sugar levels. Perform diaper changes and maintain personal hygiene. Reposition the patient regularly in bed to prevent discomfort and pressure sores. Assist with lifting, transferring, and repositioning a bedridden patient weighing approximately 50 kg (110 lbs) . Observe and report any changes in the patient's condition. Provide companionship and emotional support. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment. Qualifications Previous caregiving or bedside patient care experience preferred. Knowledge of medication administration, blood sugar monitoring, and vital sign assessment. Experience caring for bedridden patients is highly preferred. Experience with feeding tubes is an advantage. First Aid and CPR certification preferred. Physically capable of assisting with lifting, transferring, and repositioning a patient. Dependable, compassionate, patient, and able to work independently. Training will be provided. This position is ideal for a caregiver seeking a stable schedule and hands-on experience providing quality bedside care in a supportive home environment.

$15.00 per hour
