Position:
Part-Time (3 hours/day, 7 days a week)
Schedule:
8:00 AM - 11:00 AM monday-sunday (must be available all 7 days)
Pay:
$19 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide essential care for a male patient at his home in Lodi, NJ. The patient, who has been in a nursing home but wishes to be cared for at home, has specific needs due to a recent heart attack and ongoing health issues.
Responsibilities:
Administer feeding through a feeding tube. Change diapers and assist with all aspects of personal hygiene. Assist with washing down the patient. Ensure the patient's comfort and safety while in bed. Provide compassionate companionship and support.
Requirements:
Certification as a Home Health Aide (CHHA) in New Jersey. Experience with feeding tubes and personal care. Ability to handle physical demands, including changing diapers and assisting with hygiene. Reliable, punctual, and able to work 7 days a week. Excellent communication skills and a caring attitude.
Additional Information:
The patient's wife is retired and at home, available to provide support and assistance. The position is part-time, requiring 3 hours of care per day, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
