Beacon Specialized Living is dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs. We are hosting a Hiring Event for Beacon Specialized Living to connect passionate and qualified candidates with opportunities to join our dedicated team. This event is designed for individuals interested in making a meaningful difference by providing high-quality support and fostering independence for our residents. All positions are paid, including internships, and offer a rewarding environment focused on growth and community impact. Duties Engage with prospective candidates to discuss available roles, responsibilities, and the mission of Beacon Specialized Living. Provide detailed information about the specific duties associated with various support roles, including assisting residents with daily activities, promoting social engagement, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Conduct on-the-spot interviews to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and alignment with our values. Share insights into the training programs, career advancement opportunities, and the supportive work environment at Beacon. Assist candidates in understanding the importance of person-centered care and how their role contributes to residents' well-being. Facilitate a welcoming atmosphere that encourages questions, interaction, and enthusiasm about joining our team. Promote the benefits of working in a collaborative setting that values compassion, respect, and professional development. Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. Prior experience in healthcare, social services, or support roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Demonstrated commitment to person-centered care and supporting individuals with disabilities or mental health needs. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Flexibility to adapt to various shifts and responsibilities as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; relevant certifications or licenses are a plus. Passion for making a difference in people's lives through compassionate service.
