Our caregivers play a vital role in helping clients maintain comfort, safety, and dignity in the place they call home. This position involves providing care for a fully bed-bound client requiring high-acuity assistance . Key Responsibilities Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bed baths, perineal care, grooming, and personal hygiene Perform safe Hoyer lift transfers (training provided if needed) Prepare meals and assist with feeding as required Provide comfort, safety, companionship, and emotional support Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment Monitor, observe, and report changes in client condition or care needs Follow individualized care plans and instructions accurately Ensure client safety at all times during mobility and transfer activities Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required Prior senior caregiving experience preferred (high-acuity or bed-bound care strongly preferred) Comfortable providing care for a fully bed-bound client Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, compassionate, and professional demeanor Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance required Physical Requirements Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and reposition up to 50-70 lbs , with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including transfers, repositioning, and prolonged standing Ability to respond quickly to client needs in a home setting Benefits Competitive wages and benefits package Opportunities for professional development and advancement Supportive and collaborative work environment Why Join Heritage Home Healthcare?
