BrightStar Care is a leading provider of home care services, offering compassionate care and support for individuals and families. We are currently looking for dedicated and compassionate Health Aides. Must be able to commute within a 100-mile radius of the office.Service Areas:
Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Corrales, Bernalillo, Placitas, Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, Los Lunas, Belen, Sandia Pueblo, Tijeras, Bosque Farm, Peralta, South Valley to join our team. Our mission is to provide exceptional care and improve the quality of life for those we serve.Job Description:
As a Health Aide at BrightStar Care, you will play a key role in assisting individuals with activities of daily living. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, companionship, and support to clients in their homes.Responsibilities:
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients. Help with mobility and transfers. Monitor and report on the health and well-being of clients. Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation. Administer medication reminders and support with prescribed exercises. Ensure clients' safety and comfort at all times. Follow care plans and communicate regularly with supervisors.Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Health Aide or in a similar caregiving role preferred. Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing excellent care. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with clients, families, and team members. Ability to follow care plans and instructions. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Must pass a background check and drug screening (if applicable). CPR and First Aid certification preferred (will train if necessary). High school diploma or equivalent required.Location:
