Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a key part in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve by offering compassionate care tailored to their unique needs. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for clients of all ages and abilities. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Observe patient conditions closely, report changes promptly, and document care activities thoroughly Support clients with specialized needs including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, autism support, or hospice care Requirements Prior experience in home & community care or assisted living environments preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or aging-related conditions such as Alzheimer's or dementia is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely when assisting with transfers or mobility tasks Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life Join our team as an In Home Caregiver where your energy makes a difference!
