Whether assisting with daily activities, administering medications, or offering emotional support, you will be a vital part of a dedicated caregiving team committed to delivering exceptional home and community care. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, mental alertness, and overall condition; report changes promptly Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking as needed Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to ensure safe patient transfers and mobility support Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient progress, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare standards Support clients with memory care needs related to Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other cognitive impairments through engaging activities and supervision Skills Proven experience in home & community care or long-term care settings, including assisted living or nursing homes Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs measurement, and medication administration Familiarity with specialized care such as Alzheimer's, dementia, hospice, autism spectrum disorders, or developmental disabilities Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality Excellent communication skills for working with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Valid CPR and First Aid certifications; experience in emergency response situations preferred Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication directly impacts lives.
