At Senior Helpers, our caregivers are the heart of our mission. In the simplest terms, a caregiver provides compassionate, in-home assistance to someone in need—but the role is so much more than that. Responsibilities may include:
Providing companionship and emotional support Engaging clients in conversation, hobbies, games, and activities Assisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Assisting with mobility, walking, and transfers Meal planning and preparation Light housekeeping and laundry Medication reminders Errands Transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities Supporting clients recovering from illness, hospitalization, or living with chronic conditions such as dementia WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Our best caregivers are compassionate, dependable, patient, and committed to treating every client with dignity and respect. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Reliable vehicle with current registration and insurance Willingness to transport clients when needed Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical ability to assist with lifting, bending, standing, and mobility support Authorized to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications Experience as a Caregiver, Personal Care Aide (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or similar role Experience working with seniors, dementia care, or individuals requiring assistance with activities of daily living No experience? No problem. We are willing to train compassionate individuals with the right attitude and commitment to serving others. EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
