The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care, home health, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment. Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and well-being. Cook nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences. Help clients with mobility and transfers as needed, ensuring proper techniques are used for safety. Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients, including light housekeeping tasks. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel. Uphold resident rights and dignity while providing care in accordance with established protocols. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving, home community care, group home settings, or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients effectively. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and assisting clients as needed. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
