This is a residential group home with 10 private rooms . Staff to resident ratio is 1:5. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with disabilities and possess a strong understanding of patient care practices. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering both physical and emotional support in a home setting. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Recognize and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with medication schedules. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Support clients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring them safely. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations. Document care provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans that meet the specific needs of each client. Offer direct support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their dignity and independence are respected. Meal preparation and serving. Experience Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Familiarity with home care practices and assisted living environments is advantageous. Knowledge of medication administration, and patient monitoring techniques is preferred, but with the right candidate we will pay for training. Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality is essential. Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy when working with seniors are crucial for success in this role.
