Job Description

About Us:
We are a resident-centered assisted living community committed to providing compassionate, quality care to older adults. Our goal is to create a supportive, respectful, and engaging environment for both residents and staff. We are seeking dependable and caring Personal Care Aides and Home Health Aides to join our team in helping residents live with dignity, comfort, and independence.
Position Overview:
The PCA's and HHA's provides hands-on assistance with daily living tasks, supports residents' physical and emotional well-being, and helps maintain a safe and positive community environment. This role is essential to ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Supporting residents with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed Providing companionship, emotional support, and encouragement Observing and reporting changes in residents' conditions to supervisory staff Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe living environment Following individualized care plans and facility policies Supporting residents with recreational or social activities Participating in ongoing training and in-service requirements
Qualifications:
Valid PCA or HHA certification recognized in New York State Compassionate, reliable, and committed to quality care Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift, assist, and support residents as needed Previous experience in assisted living or home care preferred, but not required
