Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients.
Duties:
  • Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to dietary restrictions
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and organizing client's living space
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
  • Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in hospice care, dementia care, or memory care is preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures
  • Ability to cook meals according to dietary requirements
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and their families
  • Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others
  • Physical stamina to lift and assist clients as needed
