Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering medication to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed healthcare professional. The Medication Aide will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents by accurately dispensing medications and providing compassionate care.
Shifts:
7a-11a varied Range $18.00

Duties:
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients and ensure compliance with medication schedules
  • Monitor and record vital signs of patients
  • Assist in maintaining accurate medical documentation
  • Provide support in activities related to nursing home, acute care, hospital, senior care, hospice care, and dementia care settings
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care
  • Assist with activities of daily living as needed
Experience:
  • Previous experience working in a nursing home, acute care, hospital, or senior care facility preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Ability to handle medications safely and responsibly
