Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering medication to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed healthcare professional. The Medication Aide will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents by accurately dispensing medications and providing compassionate care.Shifts:
7a-11a varied Range $18.00- 19.
Duties:
- Administer prescribed medications to patients and ensure compliance with medication schedules
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients
- Assist in maintaining accurate medical documentation
- Provide support in activities related to nursing home, acute care, hospital, senior care, hospice care, and dementia care settings
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care
- Assist with activities of daily living as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a nursing home, acute care, hospital, or senior care facility preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to handle medications safely and responsibly
