Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Companion Caregiver to provide personalized support and assistance to individuals in their homes . This vital role focuses on enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering companionship, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive attitude to foster a warm, supportive environment that promotes independence and dignity. Duties Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in conversations, activities, and recreational pursuits to promote mental stimulation and social interaction Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by noting changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately Assist with meal preparation Support medication management by reminding clients of medication Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning living areas, laundry, and organizing personal belongings Follow care plans designed by healthcare professionals, ensuring all client needs are met with compassion and professionalism Skills Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments Assistance working with patients with Dementia Ability to assist with ADLs such as dressing, providing stand-by assistance, meal preparation and medication reminders. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times Excellent observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in health status Compassionate communication skills to build trust with clients and their families.
Client Hours Needed:
Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:00 AM-4:00PM Pay:
