Job Description

Hopewell Health Centers is a nationally accredited federally qualified health and community mental health center with 23 sites across TEN counties throughout Southeastern Ohio (Athens, Franklin, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Meigs, Perry, Ross, Vinton, and Washington). We are currently seeking a Crisis Residential Specialist to work at our Gallia Crisis Stabilization Unit located in Gallipolis, OH. •We are currently seeking a Full Time (35-39 hours per week) working 7:00AM-7:00PM and Part Time (20-24 hours/week) working 7:00PM-7:00AM varying days with weekends and holidays as needed. All shifts are awake positions. As a Crisis Residential Specialist you will provide support for personal care activities, social and leisure activities, and orientation to clients on the CSU as well as responds to crisis calls in a competent, professional, and courteous manner. Responsible for day-to-day operations of the unit according to all applicable policies, rules, and standards. Position will provide orientation to new clients including admission forms, residential agreement, personal property inventory; provides support for personal care services including prompting activities of daily living, assistance with self-administration of medication(s) as needed. This position will conduct and documents regular checks of each client at time intervals specified by the Treatment Team and report changes in observable behavior of clients served to the Treatment Team (includes verbalizations of feelings, attitudes and values, interests and aptitudes, etc.). Reports developing crisis situations immediately. What do we require from our Crisis Residential Specialists? Eligible to work in the United States High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Willingness to work any shift- nights, weekends and/or holidays as needed. Awareness of and sensitivity to the cultural diversity of the population served, implicit bias & its impact on care; Commitment to the promotion of social justice and ability to promote diversity equity & inclusion within programs; Ability to work independently, multi-task on multiple initiatives in parallel, & relate to a variety of professionals & caregivers.
