Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care, companionship, and daily living support. As a vital member of our care team, you will promote independence, ensure safety, and enhance the quality of life for residents or clients across various settings such as assisted living facilities, group homes, or private residences. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help create a warm, respectful environment where individuals feel valued and cared for every day. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring a hygienic environment Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and care plans Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement personalized care strategies and monitor patient progress Requirements Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in condition promptly Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are preferred Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's, autism or other special needs Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate medical equipment like Hoyer lifts or vital signs monitors Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare teams Valid driver's license may be required for certain roles involving home visits or community outings Join us if you're passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives!
