Active STNA certification (Ohio) A genuine passion for helping others (this part matters most) Reliability—you show up, especially when others are sleeping Ability to work independently but still be a team player Strong communication and observation skills Comfortable working overnight hours and staying alert
Bonus Points If You:
Have prior long-term care or nursing home experience Can handle quiet nights and unexpectedly busy ones Bring good energy (coffee help, but kindness works better) Why Night Shift? Slower pace (sometimes!) More one-on-one time with residents A tight-knit overnight crew vibe Shift differentials (extra $$) Pay Rate $18.50-$23.05
