Job Description

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Professional Brittany Residential, Inc.
Position Summary:
Brittany Residential is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated ASD Professional to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence, confidence, and quality of life. This role focuses on person-centered care, skill development, behavioral support, community inclusion, and creating meaningful daily experiences. Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental disabilities in residential and community settings. Implement individualized support plans and behavior support strategies. Assist with activities of daily living including hygiene, meal preparation, personal care, and household tasks. Promote independence, communication, social engagement, and life skills development. Support individuals during recreational activities, appointments, and community outings. Monitor and document progress, behaviors, goals, and daily activities accurately. Collaborate with families, supervisors, and interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care. Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. Assist with medication administration as trained and authorized. Respond calmly and professionally to behavioral or emotional challenges.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, or related field preferred). Experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, or behavioral health preferred. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to remain patient, flexible, and solution-focused. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred. Ability to pass background screening and meet agency requirements.
