Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Overnight Caregiver to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide overnight support and supervision for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the night. Duties Monitor residents' safety and well-being during overnight hours through patient observation and regular checks Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as toileting, mobility, and personal hygiene Administer medications and document vital signs in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations Respond promptly to residents' needs, including assisting with meal preparation and feeding when necessary Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring proper infection control practices Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts for resident transfers and mobility support Follow detailed care plans tailored to each individual's needs, including dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory care requirements Requirements Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques, vital signs measurement, and medication administration Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia enhances your suitability for this role Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed Strong communication skills for effective documentation and resident interaction Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful and dignified care Join us to be part of a caring team that values your dedication!
