In this vital role, you will provide exceptional personal care and support to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, home care, and community environments. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working in a dynamic, supportive environment that values your skills and commitment. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide compassionate patient observation and monitor vital signs to ensure safety and well-being Perform thorough cleaning duties to maintain a safe, hygienic environment in clients' homes or care facilities Support residents with meal preparation, cooking, and medication administration following care plans Document patient care activities accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality Assist with specialized care needs including Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, and hospice support Use equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts safely during transfers and mobility assistance Collaborate with healthcare teams on patient monitoring and implementing personalized care plans Qualifications Fluent in Spanish with excellent communication skills in both speaking and understanding Prior experience in caregiving roles within assisted living, nursing homes, or home health settings Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards Certified in CPR and First Aid; additional certifications such as Group Home Experience or Nursing Assistant preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes in condition Compassionate, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality care in a respectful manner
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
