Starting at $17.00 per hour Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available Join Our Team! Creative Living is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with developmental disabilities in residential and community settings. As a DSP, you will help individuals achieve greater independence, participate in their communities, and live meaningful lives. No experience? No problem! We provide paid training and will teach you the skills needed to be successful in this rewarding career.
Responsibilities:
Assist individuals with daily living activities and personal care as needed Support individuals in community activities, appointments, recreation, and social events Encourage independence and skill development Administer medications if properly trained and authorized Complete required documentation and daily notes Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive environment Transport individuals to activities, appointments, and community outings
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Valid Driver's License required Must be able to pass required background checks Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and dependability required
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities CPR/First Aid Certification Medication Administration (Med Pass) Certification Don't have these certifications? We provide training!
