Direct Support Provider Reliable Team Care Stow, OH Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $18.75 an hour 23 hours ago Benefits Safety equipment provided Referral program Qualifications CPR Certification Caregiving English High school diploma or GED Senior care Driver's License Home care Driving Full Job Description Direct Support Professional (DSP) Are you an experienced caregiver who is confident supporting individuals with behavioral needs? Do you remain calm under pressure and take pride in providing structured, compassionate care? If so, we are looking for you to join our team. We are looking for second shift from 2:30 PM to 11 PM every day of the week. The homes are located in Hudson, Ohio. You must have a valid drivers license, full coverage car insurance and a good driving record. The Direct Support Professional provides care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This position is ideal for candidates with strong experience supporting individuals with behavioral needs and implementing structured, consistent care.
Preferred Experience:
Supporting individuals with behavioral needs, including de-escalation techniques and following behavior support plans Ability to remain calm, patient, and consistent in high-stress or behavioral situations Working with seizure disorders (recognition and response) Medication administration (med pass and documentation) At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred Total care experience required for this home
Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care, hygiene, and daily living activities Implement and document training and behavior support plans Provide structured support to promote positive behaviors and routines Administer medications following proper protocols Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, or equipment needs Transport individuals as needed (if eligible driver)
Requirements:
Must be 18 or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S. Valid Ohio driver's license, clean record, and full coverage insurance High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a background check Professional references required
