As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being in various settings such as home care, or transportation. Your empathy and patience will be crucial in delivering exceptional care. Duties Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance. Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort. Monitor and record changes in clients' health status or behavior. Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Administer medication as prescribed and assist with daily living activities. Support clients with dementia care by implementing appropriate strategies to enhance their daily experiences. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans that meet individual needs. Requirements Previous experience in home care, patient care, senior care, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus. Certification in first aid or CPR is a plus. Good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build rapport with clients. Ability to work effectively as part of a team Compassionate and empathetic nature with a strong commitment to providing quality care. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings such as home care or assisted living facilities.
