Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and hands-on House Manager to support the daily operations of a residential home for an individual with developmental disabilities. This role combines household management with direct support responsibilities to ensure a safe, structured, and supportive living environment. The House Manager plays a key role in maintaining routines, coordinating staff, and assisting residents with daily living needs while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily household operations to ensure a safe, clean, and well-organized environment Supervise and support caregiving staff to maintain consistency in routines and quality of care Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as meal preparation, hygiene support, and daily routines as needed Help implement and maintain individualized care plans and behavioral supports Coordinate schedules, appointments, transportation, and activities for residents Maintain household supplies, groceries, and medications (as permitted), ensuring proper organization and availability Ensure the home meets all health, safety, and cleanliness standards Communicate effectively with families, case managers, and other professionals involved in care Document daily activities, incidents, and progress notes as required Qualifications Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a caregiving/support role Strong organizational and leadership skills; experience supervising staff is a plus Ability to balance hands-on caregiving with household coordination responsibilities Reliable, patient, and compassionate with a person-centered approach to care Comfortable managing schedules, documentation, and basic administrative tasks CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
