Job Description

Overview We need a Caregiver to work 25 hours a week, flexible schedule, in Willard, Ohio, with a high functioning 59 year old female. Staff must be able to drive, and no criminal record. Preferably with CPR and First Aid Certificates. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and those needing additional care. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence while ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Conduct patient observation to monitor health conditions and report any changes to healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light cleaning tasks. Support clients in engaging with their community through social activities or outings as appropriate. Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed. Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, group home, or home care settings is preferred. Strong understanding of patient care techniques and senior care best practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to perform basic patient observation tasks effectively. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
