Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, mental state, and overall condition, promptly reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to ensure safe transfers and prevent injury Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of the living space Document care activities meticulously, update care plans regularly, and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes Qualifications Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks involving patient transfers or mobility assistance Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Valid certifications in CPR, first aid, HIPAA compliance preferred; additional certifications in nursing or social work are a plus Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to delivering personalized care in a home setting Embark on a rewarding career where your efforts directly enhance the quality of life for those you serve.
