Experienced Dementia Caregiver -
Alex, Oklahoma Client Start Date:

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM, with occasional weekends as needed Home Instead is seeking an experienced, dependable, and compassionate Professional Caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a senior client in Alex, Oklahoma. Alex is located approximately halfway between Chickasha and Lindsay, making this an excellent opportunity for caregivers living in either community or the surrounding area. This position is ideal for someone seeking a consistent schedule from the start. Reliability is critical, as the client responds best to familiar caregivers and routine. Frequent call-ins or missed shifts can be very disruptive for someone living with dementia. Required Experience Please do not apply unless you have strong professional experience providing

Dementia care Personal care assistance Caregiver Responsibilities Provide companionship and meaningful engagement throughout the day Encourage memory-stimulating activities, including looking through family photo albums and discussing family members by name Assist with showers and personal hygiene Assist with changing incontinence pads as needed Prepare meals and snacks Perform light housekeeping duties Change bed linens weekly or as needed Provide supervision, safety monitoring, and redirection when appropriate Help maintain a calm, structured, and supportive environment Qualifications Previous professional dementia care experience required Previous personal care experience required Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Excellent attendance and dependability Ability to work independently in a client's home Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor Benefits of Being a Professional Caregiver Competitive pay based on experience and availability Paid training and continuing education opportunities Caregiver appreciation programs Client referral bonus program Up to $5,250 per year in tuition assistance through Bellevue University The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a senior and their family At Home Instead, our caregivers are the heart of everything we do.
