Job Description

Overview We're growing and need Caregivers for our Norman clients. We're specifically looking for a dedicated caregiver to assist a veteran from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. daily, Monday through Sunday, in the I-35 and Tecumseh Road area. This is perfect for an early bird caregiver who may also have other job duties in the late morning. Our mission it to provide compassionate and personalized care to our seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those needing specialized memory or dementia care. We are committed to fostering a supportive environment where your skills and compassion can truly shine. Whether assisting with daily activities or offering emotional support, you will be an essential part of helping clients maintain independence and quality of life right in their own homes. Duties Can Include Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, ensuring safety and hygiene standards are met Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, noting changes in condition, and reporting findings to healthcare professionals promptly Support clients with cognitive impairments by implementing memory care strategies for dementia or Alzheimer's patients Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and assist in updating personalized care plans regularly Engage in patient monitoring during home health visits or hospice care scenarios to ensure comfort and safety at all times Transporting clients when needed Qualifications Required Prior experience working in home & senior living communities is preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs measurement, and safety precautions, transfer techniques and appropriate documentation measures Ability to perform lifting safely and operate mobility aids like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts when required Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Valid driver's license, valid automobile insurance for travel between client locations and potential client transport; reliable personal vehicle required A positive attitude and sanguine disposition Join us to provide compassionate home care that empowers individuals to live healthier, happier lives.
