Job Description

Direct Care Staff support individuals with developmental disabilities only when shifts are available and requested. This role is ideal for dependable, flexible workers who want to pick up hours across multiple homes without the expectation of a set schedule or guaranteed weekly hours. Core Responsibilities Provide person‑centered support with daily living skills, hygiene, meals, mobility, and community activities. Follow each individual's service plan and complete accurate documentation for every shift. Maintain a safe, clean, and stable environment in whichever home you are assigned. Assist with behavioral supports using approved, non‑restrictive strategies. Transport individuals to appointments or community outings when needed. Communicate changes in health, behavior, or home conditions promptly to leadership. Float between multiple homes and support several individuals based on agency needs. Accept shifts on an as‑needed basis with no guarantee of hours.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Experience in DDS, home health, or caregiving preferred but not required. CPR/First Aid Certified MAT Certified Must pass OSBI background check, fingerprinting, and all DDS‑required screenings. Valid Oklahoma driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift, assist with mobility, and perform physical tasks. Calm, professional communication and strong reliability. Comfort working in different homes, with different routines, and with different individuals. Availability to pick up shifts when requested, including short‑notice needs. $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
