Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive the care they need while maintaining their independence. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and hospice care. Responsibilities Provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance. Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Assist clients with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring their safety at all times. Support clients with daily living activities while respecting their privacy and dignity. Skills Experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or hospice care is highly desirable. Strong background in patient care, including dementia care and working with people with disabilities. Proficient in home care practices, including cleaning and caregiving techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
