Caregiver

Position overview: We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and experienced Caregiver/Resident Manager to oversee and provide personalized care for up to five residents in a home-like setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a supportive and safe environment while managing day- to - day operations including: cooking, cleaning, and individualized care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Prepare and serve nutritious meals based on resident's dietary needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment including routine housekeeping and laundry. Monitor residents' health and well-being, report changes, and follow care plans. Administer medications Build trusting relationships with residents and families through honesty, empathy and open communication. Uphold confidentiality, respect, and dignity of each resident. Maintain documentation per policy

Qualifications:

Prior caregiving experience, preferably in residential or assisted living setting. Strong sense of compassion, patience, and integrity. Ability to manage household tasks effectively. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to provide individualized, resident-centered care and engage in activities with the residents.

Preferred:

CNA, HCA or similar (not required, but a plus) Experience managing a small care home or working in a similar leadership role
