Canyonville / Days Creek Area Caregiver Needed

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings, including in home care, assisted living, and nursing homes. This role involves working closely with clients to enhance their quality of life while ensuring their safety and comfort. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide patient observation and monitoring to ensure the well-being of clients Administer medication according to care plans and assist with vital signs as needed Prepare meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary requirements Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties Support clients with mobility challenges, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel Uphold HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality Experience Candidates should possess experience in caregiving roles, particularly in settings such as: Home & community care experience Nursing home or long-term care experience Alzheimer's care and memory care settings Working with individuals with developmental disabilities or Dementia Care Preferred skills include: First aid and Emergency Patient care techniques including patient monitoring and direct support Knowledge of cleaning protocols in a caregiving context We welcome applicants who are passionate about providing high-quality care and making a positive impact on the lives of those they serve.
