Care is delivered with dignity, respect, and a focus on maintaining client independence. Caregivers assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) as authorized by the care plan. Key Responsibilities Personal Care Services Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility Support transfers, ambulation, and positioning Provide incontinence care as needed Household & Support Services Light housekeeping (cleaning, organizing, laundry) Meal planning, preparation, and clean-up Grocery shopping and errands Companionship & Emotional Support Provide social interaction and engagement Encourage participation in activities and routines Promote independence and quality of life Health & Safety Support Medication reminders or assistance (as allowed by OAR) Observe and report changes in condition Follow infection control and safety procedures Transportation Assistance Escort clients to appointments, errands, and community activities Documentation & Compliance Follow individualized service plans Complete required documentation and visit verification Maintain client confidentiality and rights Minimum Qualifications (Oregon Requirements) Must be 18 years of age or older Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Pass a criminal background check and eligibility screening Complete required orientation and training prior to or during employment Ability to perform essential caregiving tasks safely Preferred Qualifications Previous caregiving or healthcare experience CPR/First Aid certification Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Training & Compliance Completion of state-required caregiver training and competency evaluation Ongoing continuing education as required Adherence to all Oregon Health Authority and DHS regulations Who You Are Compassionate and patient Reliable and professional Strong communicator Passionate about helping others live independently Join Us Today If you're ready to build a meaningful career and make a real impact, apply now to become part of a team that values compassion, integrity, and excellence in care.
