Job Description

Job Summary Dorian Place is seeking a compassionate and organized Resident Care Director to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that the residents receive personalized, high-quality care. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between residents, their families, and our caregiving team, ensuring that all care needs are met. Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor care plans for individuals requiring assistance with daily living activities
  • Conduct assessments to determine the level of care needed by each client
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, social workers, and family members to develop comprehensive care plans
  • Provide guidance and support to caregivers on proper techniques for assisting clients
  • Monitor vital signs and behavior management of clients
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards related to care services
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client information Qualifications
  • Experience in assisted living, senior care, caregiving, or related fields
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and vital signs monitoring
  • Familiarity with group home operations, social work principles, and long-term care facilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to provide optimal care for clients
  • Certification or degree in a relevant field such as nursing, social work, or direct support is preferred
