Job Description

In Home Caregiver Oregon City, OR 97045 $25 an hour - Part-time $25 an hour - Part-time
IMMEDIATE NEED FOR 1 PART-TIME IN-HOME CAREGIVER. PAYS
$25/HOUR.
FOUR PAID TRAINING DAYS.
Seeking 1 part-time morning caregiver with experience working with a person with quadriplegia or that is willing to learn. The caregiver position covers your choice of either Thursday or Saturday mornings and some on-call availability to cover vacations, sick days, and other days for my other two caregivers. There are occasional opportunities for travel. Starting time is 9:00 am (flexible to between 6:30 and 9). Morning care lasts about 3 hours on bowel care/shower days (which happens every other day). Other days, the morning care takes about 1.5 hours. Care in the morning would require assisting me with dressing, showering, toileting/bowel care program. Knowledge of standing pivot transfers is important to transfer me into my shower chair but training is provided if needed. I would like to work with someone looking for a long-term part-time position so I can have someone that is dependable. My previous caregivers have worked for me from 4 years to 25 years. My current caregivers have been here for three years. My home is located about 3 miles from Clackamas Community College and there is no bus route within 4 miles.
