Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing for changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately in accordance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when required, ensuring safety during meal times Administer medications following care plans and document all medication activities precisely to ensure compliance with healthcare standards Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, by implementing specialized techniques to promote comfort and safety Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and adherence to infection control protocols Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and update personalized care plans that reflect each resident's unique needs Experience Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration Hands-on experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or dementia is advantageous Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or hospice care are a plus Familiarity with patient monitoring tools like Hoyer lifts or resident's equipment enhances your ability to provide safe support Experience in working within long-term care environments or social work settings is beneficial for understanding comprehensive resident needs Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting safely while maintaining a compassionate approach toward residents Qualifications Previous experience as a caregiver First Aid CPR Certification Food Handlers Card Auto Insurance Valid Driver's License Join us as a Caregiver and become an essential part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional care.
