Job Description

Schedule:
Ambler PA Cases :
Morning Shift Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11am-5 pm, and Overnight Shift Mon-Fri 8 pm- 8 am During the week.
Jenkintown Case:
19046- 12 hours/day, female client 8am-8pm. Job Summary Join our dedicated caregiving team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will provide compassionate, personalized support to promote independence, comfort, and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to engage in rewarding work that enhances quality of life through attentive care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities. Your dedication will help create a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for those you serve. Responsibilities Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide medication administration following prescribed schedules and protocols Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Support individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease through specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Help with meal preparation and feeding to meet nutritional needs and dietary preferences Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within personal care areas and living spaces Document care activities accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and report any changes or concerns to supervisors Operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs safely during transfers and mobility assistance Support residents in community engagement activities to foster social interaction and mental stimulation Follow safety procedures diligently, including first aid protocols, emergency responses, and infection control practices Skills Proven experience in senior care, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and behavior management techniques Ability to assist with ADLs effectively while respecting individual dignity and preferences Strong understanding of vital signs monitoring and medication administration procedures Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate documentation of care activities Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with residents, families, and team members Valid driver's license for transportation duties when required for community outings or appointments Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized support Ability to operate lifting devices such as Hoyer lifts safely and confidently Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, or overnight as needed Join us in creating a caring environment where every individual receives the respect and support they deserve.
