Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care, companionship, and daily living support. As a vital member of our caregiving team, you will help enhance the quality of life for residents or clients by delivering personalized care in various settings such as assisted living facilities, group homes, or private residences. Your role is essential in promoting independence, safety, and well-being while fostering a warm and respectful environment. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day through active engagement and attentive care. Responsibilities Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals. Support medication administration following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary. Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices safely and effectively. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning common areas and resident rooms. Document care activities meticulously in compliance with healthcare standards and resident care plans. Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being, especially for individuals with dementia or memory loss. Follow all safety protocols including CPR, First Aid procedures, and emergency response plans to ensure resident safety at all times. Collaborate with team members, social workers, nurses, and family members to develop and implement personalized care plans for each individual. Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is advantageous. Familiarity with patient observation techniques, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and HIPAA compliance is essential. Experience operating assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids is a plus. Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform physically demanding tasks required for patient transfer or mobility assistance. Previous roles involving long-term care or home health services will be considered favorably. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications related to nursing or social work are beneficial but not mandatory. Join our team if you're passionate about providing compassionate caregiving that makes a real difference! We value energetic individuals committed to enhancing the lives of others through dedicated support and professional excellence.
