Caregiver

Overview:

Currently looking for a reliable and caring individual to care for a male client that is healing from a serious fall. The client needs daily assistance, (meal prep, light housekeeping, etc). He can not lift more than five pounds. MUST have reliable transportation. The client also has a dog. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of support with daily activities and personal care.

Schedule:

• 9am•6pm (8-10 hours a day)•Potentially more hours if desired Responsibilities may include but not limited to:•Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing•Provide medication reminders if needed•Provide companionship and emotional support to clients•Help clients with mobility issues and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary•Implement care plans tailored to individual needs•Support individuals with dementia care or other illnesses•Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment

Requirements:

• Prior experience in caregiving or related fields preferred
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and demonstrate empathy
• Proficiency in assisting with ADLs
• Capability to handle physical demands including heavy lifting and assisting with mobility
• Familiarity with social work systems and protocols for providing quality care
