Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position involves working with diverse populations, including those with autism, memory care needs, and other health challenges. Duties Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. assistance medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Assist with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary to ensure client safety. Support clients in daily living activities and encourage independence where possible. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Document patient care activities accurately and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing home care or home community care is preferred. Familiarity with memory care practices and working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs. Knowledge of medication administration protocols is beneficial. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
