Weekend Caregiver

Weekend Caregiver Job Description:

NuChoice Health Partners is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend Caregiver to join our team in Hermitage, PA. As a Weekend Caregiver, you will provide personalized care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes, focusing on companionship, medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal prep, and other essential services.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and games Assist with medication reminders and medication management Prepare light meals and snacks for clients Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and household tidying Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Monitor and report changes in client conditions to management and family members

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in healthcare or caregiving an asset, but not necessary Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods

Working Conditions:

Part-time, flexible schedule (Weekends only) Home-based care, with regular travel to clients' homes Occasional evening or overnight shifts required How to
