HHA/Caregiver

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to safety and health regulations. This role is vital in promoting the independence and quality of life for our clients, particularly seniors and those requiring long-term care. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing. Clean living spaces and launder clothing to maintain a safe and healthy environment. Help clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring as needed. Maintain accurate medical records and document care provided in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their emotional well-being. Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs. Monitor client health status, reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals. Skills Strong understanding of senior care practices and long-term care principles. Ability to clean effectively while respecting client privacy and preferences. Familiarity with medication administration procedures. Experience working in assisted living or similar environments is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to manage time efficiently while providing high-quality care.
